A few steps from the lake, in a central and well-serviced area in Mandello del Lario, a small and charming period cottage has been entirely renovated. The prestigious building, once used as a gatehouse, still had decorations and features typical of early 20th-century architecture. The interior has been completely redone. The intervention was partially followed, mainly by assisting the client in aesthetic solutions and in the choice of finishes and furnishings. On the entrance floor, a large living area was created open to the kitchen and dining area with soft and harmonious colors. To make the most of the space, a mezzanine with a steel structure and wooden flooring was created, where a first double bedroom was created. On the lower floor, on the other hand, a bathroom and a second bedroom were arranged. An intimate and lovely outdoor area was also created and set up outside. The client chose to rely on the expertise and experience of the Molteni Group for the relooking of this lovely home, which has been renovated and enhanced of its potential in order to be included in the vacation home offer of Varenna Holidays, a leader in tourist rentals and part of the Molteni Group.
