In the center of the wonderful village of Varenna, a large historic house lakefront, arranged on several levels, has been completely renovated. On the outside, the plaster was redone, strolled and then painted with a glaze effect, while the roof was replaced with a roofing of laminated wood and antiqued Portuguese tiles, so as to restore the ancient prestige of the noble facades. Internally, the old floorboards were demolished and a different distribution of spaces was created, along with the construction of a new slab. All structural elements, from fixtures to windows and doors, from the interior staircase to the chimney were redone. Along with the technical work, an aesthetic action was carried out through the choice of flooring, wall coverings, colors and furniture. The additional operation that enriched this construction site was also the restoration of the frescoes on the interior walls and the creation of new decorations made by skilled workers. This renovation was commissioned by the new owner who had just purchased the building through Molteni Real Estate, orienting the project solutions according to the future tourist destination of the property, which was then given to Varenna Holidays, another Molteni Group company, for management.
