Leopardi Street

In the university town of Lecco, in a residential area close to the center and well served, a number of apartments were renovated as part of a larger operation to redevelop an entire condominium complex. In this specific case, the intervention was aimed at creating housing for students from the nearby Polytechnic and/or young workers. The building was old and dated, completely in need of renovation. All fixtures were redone and some floorboards were demolished to change the interior layout. The kitchen was expanded to create a common area where students' lives could intertwine over a break. Other common spaces created were the toilets and laundry area, located in the corridor leading to the individual rooms. Therenovation was a 360-degree renovation, taking care of all the finishes and details, from the wall coverings to the floors, from the lighting to the choice of furniture related to the type of use. Even the colors were selected to give a fresh and cheerful touch to the interiors. This real estate operation was totally coordinated by the Molteni Group, from the purchase phase of the entire condominium complex, to the renovations of the individual apartments and the subsequent styling of the interiors to accommodate the students.
